The Beers, Ciders and Wineries of the Bellarine
The western side of Port Phillip bay is a contrasting view of it's more often visited relative on the other side. The Bellarine is an up and coming destination that is soon to be on the forefront of everyone mind when thinking of an indulgent trip from the big city.
In the morning we stroll along Geelong waterfront to see the pier and it's famous bollards as the sun reflects off the bay. Our first stop takes us to Scotchmans Hill Vineyard and it's many delicious vintage wines on offer before we venture just up the road to sample the fine wines of Terindah Estate.
For lunch we're in for a real a real treat as we head to Jack rabbit winery to enjoy one of their many delicious meals followed by a tasting from their selection of their collection while we take in the amazing views of the bay from where we sit.
Queenscliff Brewhouse is our next destiniation to try their hand crafted beers before arriving at our final destination - Flying brick cider to go through their range of freshly made cider. A day out on the Bellarine with us will not soon be forgotten.
